I Have Questions

I hear people say all the time that when they get to heaven they are going to ask Jesus, “Why did this happen, why didn’t you stop such and such, where were you when etc… Are you kidding me! Have you read what Scripture says about God’s glory? Here is just one:
Revelation 21:23 “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.” God’s glory is so bright that all
of heaven needs no other light! We are told in Psalm 29:2”2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in
the beauty of holiness.”

I think when we get to heaven that we will be so overwhelmed by God’s glory and holiness that we will bow low and worship. We read in Revelation 4:3-5 this:”3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne. 4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. In front of the throne,
seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits[a] of God.”

And you think that after seeing this you are going to still be all puffed up and worried about something that happened to you on earth, NOT POSSIBLE!!! Anytime in scripture that we read about someone having an encounter with God, they are not all argumentative and puffed up or demanding. We see the opposite of that. In Revelation 22:8-9 we read: “8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me”. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!” John was so overwhelmed with what he saw that he started to bow down and even worship the angel that was showing him these things.

Any thought of earth and its troubles will not be anywhere in our thinking when standing face to face with the one who saved and cleansed any thought about this earth and its troubles will not enter our thinking. When stand face-to-face with the Jesus the who saved us her hearts will be completely overwhelmed with Thanksgiving and gratitude that we will be prostrate on the floor of heaven shouting this along with all the other heavenly host, Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is to come!
