This morning as I was reading in 2 Chronicles these verses jumped out at me. I think they are good verses for us today to remind us that we need always to live for God, call on him, and understand that He will fight for us when we do. He sees everything at all times and is looking for those who will stand firm in their faith and live each day fully surrendered and obedient. Getting rid of any sinful ways that we allow to linger.

We need to search our hearts and let the Holy Spirit show us anything no matter how small it may be that could be delaying our prayers, things we have decided are really not offensive to God, but in truth are and they rob us of the power we need. I for one want to be fully surrendered in every aspect of my life. God will fight for his people and give them victory! He is faithful! Let this be our prayer and our position.

 

2 Chronicles 14:11 “Lord, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, O Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name, we have come against this vast army. O Lord, you are our God; do not let man prevail against you.”

 

2 Chronicles 15:2,4″The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.” 4 ” But in their distress, they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him, and he was found by them.”

 

2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”
